How Word enters small black dots on the decimal

1. Enter the small black spot on the decimal

Primary school math teachers often have to enter the circle decimal. In a Word document, it is difficult to enter a small black dot above the decimal. In this case, you can use the Word Phonetic Guide feature to implement it.

First enter the corresponding decimal, such as "0.44", and select the last digit "4". Switch to the Start tab, click the Phonetic Guide button in the Font feature group, and then open the Phonetic Guide dialog box. In the text box under "Phonetic", enter the small black dots, which can be realized by using the "soft keyboard" of Chinese Input Method (Figure 1). In the special symbols panel, find or., the alignment can be set to "1-2-1", the font size is adjusted to the actual situation, do not exaggerate, the final effect is shown in the figure (Figure 2).

2. Easy to learn the number of words on the page

In word processing documents or manuscripts, sometimes need to know the number of words on the page. Word counts the number of pages, the total number of words, paragraphs, lines, but can not directly display the average Word count per page. To know the number of words in the page, you have to calculate it separately. If you use the domain feature, you can automatically display the number of words in the page.

Enter the "Average Word count per page" at the appropriate location: Word, position the cursor between number: And Word, press CTRL+F9 to open the field editor, enter "=/" inside the curly brace, place the cursor between "=" and "/", press CTRL+F9 to insert a pair of curly braces again; Press CTRL+F9 again to insert a pair of curly braces (Figure 3), enter the Numwords in the first bracket (representing the total number of words in the document), and enter the NUMPAGES in the second curly brace (the number of pages in the document). Move the cursor to the end of the code, right-click and select "Update field code" to get the effect shown in the figure (Figure 4).

Small tip:

If an error occurs, you can right-click to select Edit field and modify the corresponding field code.

3. Quickly clear page article format

We're going to copy some useful content from the Web page to the Word document, but that often takes some formatting that we don't need. If you relay through Notepad, the table or picture will not be preserved. In fact, just click the "Clear all Formatting" button in the Font feature group to clear all formatting from the selection. If you need to restore after you clear the format, you can press the CTRL+Z key combination.
