When using the 64-bit Windows 8 consumption preview operating system, when installing 32Bit Office 2010, an error is reported, as shown in the figure below:
Windows 8 does not support the Office Chinese input method editor, that is, there is a font conflict, and such a situation only occurs in the Windows 8 64Bit consumer preview system.
To solve this problem, go to the system automatic update page and install the KB2680376 update.
Procedure:
1. Use the hotkey combination "WIN + X" to bring up the shortcut menu, select "control panel", and enter, in the system and security of the control panel, select "install optional update" under "WINDOWS Update", as shown in the following figure:
2. After you click enter, the following figure is displayed:
3. After entering the important update, select KB2680376 for installation, as shown in the following figure:
4. After the patch is installed, the 32-bit OFFICE software can be installed normally. No such error occurs when the 64-bit OFFICE software is installed.
