Later, I found that after Windows XP English edition is installed, If I can access the Internet, if I have accessed websites that contain Chinese characters such as Sohu and Yahoo, I will be prompted to install the Language Pack, in this case, you do not need to insert a Language Pack disk but an installation disk for Windows XP. After the language is installed, You need to restart the system and no longer need a Language Pack disk. In this way, I found that the downloaded Language Pack is useless.
To display Chinese characters, Open start, control panel, regional and language options and select a language to match the language version of the non-Unicode programs you want on the Advanced tab.

However, the problem is still not completely resolved.
