Sometimes, in order to protect the security and privacy of our own users, we will establish an additional user for others to use. By default, Standard Users created in Windows can basically meet this control, however, if the IP attribute needs to be modified due to changes in the work environment, the user is not authorized to modify the attribute, which affects the use of users within a certain range, in this regard, Microsoft has created a separate user group to modify IP attributes. You only need to choose Control Panel> Management Tools> Computer Management> local users and groups to find new users, right-click Properties-> affiliated-> click Add to find the Network Configuration Operators group and add it to the user. In this way, the user has the network attribute modification function (in special cases, if it still does not work, you can change the user to a Power Users Group ).
Users in the Users Group can use third-party tools to restrict their permission to access files. They can also use the built-in functions of windows to implement this permission and Log On As administrators, right-click the folder you want to restrict and choose share> do not share> stop sharing. users in the Users group will not be able to access files that are not shared with these settings! (This function is provided in Windows Vista and Windows 7, and XP is different. I will not repeat it here)
