Sometimes the theme package downloaded on Microsoft's official website does not respond when you double-click it. As a result, the theme cannot be installed. However, we can use the following solution to manually install it to the system.
1. Download the topic package. Assume that the topic package is UK. themepack. Change the extension to RAR and decompress it to the UK folder with WinRAR.
2. In the UK folder, there are usually two files UK. theme and a folder named background.
3. Copy the UK folder to C:/users/(your user name)/appdata/local/Microsoft/Windows/themes/
4. Open the theme management interface and you will see a new theme, but the background is black... Next we want to fix this manual installation topic.
5. click the topic, select the desktop background below, and browse to the C:/users/(your user name)/appdata/local/Microsoft/Windows/themes/UK/background folder, select all background images.
6. Now you will find that there is an unsaved topic in the theme manager. This topic looks quite normal... :)
7. Right-click an unsaved topic and save it to the desktop. The name is UK.
8. Switch to another topic and close the topic manager.
9. Copy UK. theme on the desktop to C:/users/(your user name)/appdata/local/Microsoft/Windows/themes/UK/and overwrite the previous UK. theme.
10. Open the theme manager again to see if the theme in UK is normal?
In addition, after using this method to install a theme that was once uninstallable, I found that the other theme that was once uninstallable can now be installed normally... Well... Somehow...
