1. Open the Virtual machine menu "VM" and the Drop-down box will have an installation option for the Install VMware Tools tool.
after clicking, a vmwaretools...tar.gz file appears under the Redhat desktop. Path (/media/vmware Tools)
2. Copy this file to the/tmp file to extract the
cp vmwaretools...gz/tmp
cd/tmp
TAR-XZVF Vmwaretools...gz
3. This is where the unpacked directory will appear. (Vmware-tools-distrib directory). Then execute the compile Operation
CD vmwaretools
... ./vmware-install.pl
Start the installation, all the way to return to the ...
If you cannot compile, you may not have sufficient permissions. Can sudo ./vmware-install.pl. If "..." occurs during execution. Fatal error: Linux/smp_lock.h does not have that file or directory, compilation interrupts ... "error, don't bother to just return all the way.
