1. Download VMware
2. Ready the image file for CentOS
3. Open VMware to create a new virtual machine
Select Custom Advanced and press Next
Continue to the next
Choose to install the operating system later
Client OS Select Linux, version select CentOS 64-bit (mine is 64-bit CentOS)
Set the virtual machine name and installation path
Assigning processors
Set the memory for a virtual machine
Using Network address Translation (NAT mode)
Select the recommended
Create a new virtual disk
Allocate disk size, choose to store the virtual machine disk as a single file
Select the location where the disk was created
Complete, click on custom Hardware
In the virtual machine settings, locate the CD/DVD (IDE), and on the right, select "Use ISO image file" to find the CentOS ISO file i downloaded .
Finally click Finish to turn on this virtual machine.
Wait for the check to go into the installation, do not want to wait for the ESC to exit, no matter.
The next step is to enter the graphical installation interface.
Select language
Select the installation source to open
Click Software Selection
Select the GNOME desktop and tick the desired
Click on the network and host name to go in and turn on the cable
The next step is to mount the file directory to disk
Click Accept Changes
When you're ready, click Start installation in the lower right corner.
In the installation
During the installation process, we can set the root password and create a common account
Click Restart when installation is complete
Enter interface after reboot
Select language
So the CentOS7 installation is complete.
