Introduction to Windows Outlook Express window

Express|window in the taskbar, click the Outlook Express icon to open the main window of Outlook Express, as shown in Figure 1 3-1. Before you learn Outlook Express, it's important for users to get to know the working interface of Outlook Express, which will help users quickly master and use Outlook Express.
The main window of Outlook Express consists of a menu bar, a toolbar, a view bar, a folder List bar, a contact list bar, and an Outlook Express start page, which are described separately below:
Menu bar: Gives Outlook Express all the menu items, including file, edit, view, tools, mail, and help, and so on. The user can perform most of the work in Outlook Express through the menu bar.
Toolbars: Shows some of the most common command buttons in Outlook Express to quickly enable the common features of Outlook Express. The number of buttons in the toolbar changes depending on the folder, including the new Mail button, the Send/Receive button, the Address Book button, and the Find button, and the user can customize the toolbar to suit their needs or preferences.

View Bar: Gives the type of message in the mailing list, through the Drop-down menu in the View bar, you can control the type of messages in the main form mailing list, by default, show all messages, or you can select Show copies of all messages, hide read or ignored messages, and hide read messages.
Folder List bar: gives all folders, including folders created by users themselves, that can be used to classify and store information, including Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, Deleted items, drafts, Hotmail, and news servers.
Contact List bar: gives the list of all contacts in the user's address book. Users can manage their contacts through it.
Outlook Express Start Page: In the Outlook Express start page, there are hyperlinks that allow users to jump to the appropriate folder or Internet Explorer component by clicking the links. For example, by clicking the "Read Mail" hyperlink, you can jump directly to your inbox and read the messages you receive.
Status bar: Used to display the user's current working status. In addition, when the user clicks the Folder List, the status bar displays the total number of messages or unread messages in the Folder list.
