LINQ SQL Group takes the most recent record

A recent project has a requirement to query the most recent order record for each customer from the order form. database table structure such as

             SELECT *  from (             SelectRow_number () Over(Partition by [CustID] Order  by [OrderDate] desc) asNewIndex,*  fromsales.orders) asTwhereT.newindex=1 

Execution results, grouped by customer, and sequence numbers are generated chronologically.
