Second, set up the method

1 , enter the Setup interface

Enter the melogin.cn (or 192.168.1.1) login router interface in the browser's address bar and click on the Advanced Settings in the upper-right corner of the page, as shown below:

Click on the Internet control > Parental Controls to enter the Setup interface, as shown below:

2 , add parents computer

Click Add , as shown below:

Select the MAC address of the parent computer in the Add column and click Save . If you have more than one computer to be a parent computer, please add the following image:

After the completion of the addition, the parent host list is shown below, and the host of the list is not restricted to the Internet.

3 , set the time period for children to surf the internet

Add a time period that allows the child to surf the Internet, and a blank area to allow time for Internet access. The following figure:

Note : In this example, children are allowed to 20:00~22:00 in the week and 08:00~22:00 the internet on weekends, depending on actual needs.

4 , enable parental control

Click on the top of the page to open parental control, as shown below:

In the pop-up prompt box, click OK , as shown in the following figure:

At this point, the Parental Control function settings are complete. Parents do not have any restrictions on Internet access, and children can only surf at designated times.

Can you control a child only or not on a specific website?

A : No, you can only control the Internet time of a child.

Is it possible to set different time for different kids on the Internet?

A : no, in addition to the parents computer, other computers are children's computer, and Internet/Can not go online time unified set.

After setting up, the child computer can still surf the internet when it is not online?

A : Verify that the parental control switch is turned on, check that the current time is correct, and make sure the child is on time for Internet access (blank area is allowed).

After parental controls are set, are the devices connected to the Guest network restricted?

Answer: yes. Devices connected to the guest network are treated as child devices if they are not in the list of parent devices.
