The name of the installation package will vary depending on the system version and the language environment
Installation can be either a direct networked installation or a DVD image source installation, which records the Yum source that configures the Redhat/centos local DVD:
1. Copy the Redhat ISO system DVD image to any directory in the current system, as noted here:/tmp/redhat.iso
2. Mount the image to/mnt/dvd
# Mkdir/mnt/dvd
# Mount-o Loop/tmp/redhat.iso/mnt/dvd
3. Configure the Yum source
# Cp/etc/yum.repos.d/redhat-base.repo/etc/yum.repos.d/redhat-base.repo_sysbak
# Vi/etc/yum.repos.d/redhat-base.repo
In the open file, leave only [base] configuration, other delete, modify [base]
Enable=1
Gppcheck=0
4. Save, execute
# Yum Update
Don't worry. Update, continue execution
# yum Grouplist
To install the desktop environment where the X Window System (which may be x Windows systems, etc.) must be installed, perform
# yum Groupinstall "X window System"
If you are installing a GNOME desktop environment (possibly GNOME desktop, GNOME desktop environment, desktop, desktops, etc.)
# yum Groupinstall "GNOME desktop Environment"
5. Start the graphical interface on the boot
# Vi/etc/inittab
Modify the Id:3:initdefault line, change 3 to 5, reboot the system
