Oracle user management
1. Create a new user (normal)
Create user Username identified by password
For example, create a user named James with the password xm
2. Change the password of an ordinary user as an administrator (when a common user forgets his/her password)
Alter user Username identified by new password
3. Create a new user (advanced)
The first row does not need to be explained here. The second row indicates the default tablespace used by the table created by the user, and the third row indicates the temporary tablespace used by the table created by the user, the fourth row indicates that the maximum size of the Data Objects (tables, views, etc.) created by the user is 3 mb. If the maximum size is exceeded, the system will prompt that the user space is insufficient.
4. Assign permissions to new users
The newly created user does not have any permissions, so the newly created user cannot log on.
Assign logon permissions to new users:
However, at this time, xiaoming can only log on, but other permissions are still not available.
System permissions:
Create session logon permission
Create table
Create index permission
