Apply Layer style and filter effect synthetically, make a glass text effect. The tools you apply to are text tools, rubber tools, and layer styles you use: projections, bevel and emboss, color overlays, and filters you use: Clouds, add noise, blur of motion, fiber, light effects. After completing the tutorial exercise, you will be able to appreciate how important it is to have flexible applications.

1, open Adobe Photoshop CS4 software, execute menu: "File"/"New" (shortcut key CTRL + N), pop-up New dialog box, set name: Glass text effect, Width: 500 pixels, Height: 500 pixels, resolution: 72 pixels/inch, Color mode: RGB color, 8-bit, background content: white, after setting, click OK button, as shown in Figure 1.

2. Select the Toolbox Gradient tool (shortcut key g), set it to a linear gradient in the Tools Options bar, and then click an editable gradient to eject the gradient editor.
