A few months ago, I began to see some of the black L.A. posters in San Francisco, and these old neon lights were really cool, and I know I did the previous tutorials on similar effects, but I wanted to do it in Photoshop
So in this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to achieve text effects like the cover of the Black L.A. game, about one to 1.5 hours, he's really not easy, but it turns out to be cool.

1th Step
The first thing to do is to create the text, which I do with illustrator, because it will be easy. I used the Arial black font, but I changed B. D and O letters so that they're not so rounded
2nd Step
Use the rounded Rectangle tool to make neon lights, the following figure for reference:

And then, like the image below, let the stripes and the letters merge together.

Open Photoshop, create a new document, 2560x1440px, fill the background with black, and then copy the work done in illustrator to Photoshop, I use yellow (#f0af17的)
