Photoshop Text Effects Tutorial: A New Year's three-dimensional words

This Photoshop tutorial will introduce you to make a New Year's celebration poster. Poster is mainly the production of text effects, in the Photoshop tutorial in the detailed use of layer style to create a stereo word effect.

Final effect

1, create a new 1024 * 768 pixel document, select the Gradient tool, color settings such as Figure 1, pull out the radial gradient shown in Figure 2 as the background.

2, open the text material shown in Figure 3, use magic wand to pull out, drag to our new document, properly put the position. When you lock the layer, select the Gradient tool, and the color settings are shown in Figure 4, pulling out the linear gradient as seen in Figure 5.

3. Create a new group on the background layer, create a new layer in the group, use the pen to tick the outline of the text, and then fill the black in the selection, as shown below.

4. Create a new layer, press CTRL + ALT + G to group with the previous layer, then create a new layer below the current layer, use a pen to tick the selection shown in the following figure, press CTRL + ALT + D to feather 15 pixels and fill the red.

5. The selection section to the right of the following figure is slightly deepened with the burn tool.

6. Create a new layer, and use the pen to check out the selections shown in the following picture, and fill in the red.

7, create a new layer, with a pen to check out the selection shown in the following figure, feather 3 pixels and fill orange yellow.

8, create a new layer, the same as the following figure of the selection section filled with orange, the more parts and then use the pen to check out after the deletion.

9, create a new layer, with a pen to check out the selection shown in the following figure, feather 10 pixels after the black fill.

10, create a new layer, with a pen to check out the selection of the following figure to fill the dark red, the bottom with a deeper tool slightly deeper.

11, create a new layer, with a pen to check out the selection shown below fill red, do not cancel the selection, with an orange brush to the edge of the text of a high light.

12, create a new layer, with a pen to check out the edge of the high light selection, feather 5 pixels after white fill.
