Photoshop Tutorial: Light effects in the cloud

This effect is very simple, but first of all, add such a light effect, the best picture on your own light source.

The effect is simple. But the first explanation is. Add such a light effect. It's best to have a light source on your picture itself. Like a cloud with a high light. or a window. Or there is an obvious light emitting body and so on. Let's look at the original artwork first.

This is a picture of the HDR effect I looked for on the internet. It may not be appropriate to use such a graphic to do light effects. But this does not affect our study.

Effect chart.

1. We use the lasso to pick out the Sky section simply. This step should not be too careful. My choice is very thick. And there is no feather.

2. Copy the selected Sky to the new layer. Perform image > Adjust > Thresholds.

The size of the thresholds depends on the picture. The goal is to keep as many mottled black and white patches as possible.

3. Perform filters > Blur > Radial blur on this layer
What needs to be explained is that. The greater the amount of ambiguity. The greater the length of the light. The Fuzzy Center is the center of light distribution.

Set the layer blending mode to color filter. Again, the opacity is properly adjusted. The effect of light is initially formed.

4. You can also change the color of the light. Add a photo filter adjustment layer to this layer. I use a dark yellow here. Here the dark yellow can be given to 100%. The intensity of the color is then changed by adjusting the opacity of the layer. Ctrl+alt+g. Create a clipping mask. Make sure the photo filter affects only the color of the light. Sets the blending mode of this adjustment layer to a color.

5. For the overall effect of the wedding. I stamped the layer again. Filters > Render > Lighting effects are performed.
