The full name of WHDI is "Wireless Home Digital Interface", that is, the Wireless Home Digital Interface. Based on the WHDI proprietary technology standard, this technology works in the 5 GHz band and can transmit signals over a wall within 30 meters. The bandwidth is 3 Gbps, which can transmit lossless and non-compressed HD signals.

II. The biggest feature of the whdi standard is that the latency is less than 1 ms, while maintaining full compatibility with the HDMI interface. Low latency ensures that audio and video synchronization is good for the user's entertainment experience, and the operation experience is not delayed. At the same time, it can reach a long transmission distance and have the ability to penetrate the wall.

Iii. WHDI technology can achieve 1920x1080 lossless video transmission and 7.1-Channel pcm hd audio transmission. It also provides a K backhaul channel, used for communication of the HDCP control protocol. In the future, WHDI technology will be upgraded to support 4K2K resolution.

4. WirelessHD, as its name implies, is "wireless HD" and is also one of the most popular technologies in the industry. WirelessHD is based on the 802.15.3c standard and uses a 60 GHz High-frequency band. The theoretical bandwidth can reach 28 Gbps, which is sufficient for Lossless transmission of Full-definition data.

5. WiDi, also known as "Intel WirelessDisplay", is a wireless high-definition transmission technology developed by Intel, a famous chip manufacturer, to provide WiFi standards, it can only be used with Intel-specific processors and specific operating systems. This technology has evolved to version 2.0.

The bandwidth is 2.4 Gbit/s/5 GHz and Mbit/s. Due to limited bandwidth, WiDi needs to compress data when transmitting HD audio and video signals. In the first 1.0 era, WiDi technology can only achieve P of HD data transmission, the current version 2.0 has been able to implement HD transmission of P.

6. The full name of Wiig is Wireless Gigabit, that is, Wireless Gigabit bit. Based on the IEEE802.11ad standard, this technology is a high-speed short-range wireless technology based on 60Hz high-frequency band.

At present, wiggg supports a bandwidth of 7 Gbps and supports lossless compression of HD Audio and Video. However, the transmission distance is relatively short, only about 3-5 meters, and it can also be better integrated with WiFi technology. In addition to transmitting high-definition audio and video signals, it can also transmit content on the PC to the desktop for playback and storage. It can also be used as a network card or embedded in mobile devices in an integrated manner, implement high-speed data interaction applications.

At present, the main problem facing wiggg is that there are too few terminal devices, the commercialization process is slow, and it is also facing strong competition from other technologies.
