Have you used the "Disk Cleanup program" in Windows? In fact, it is very conservative! Turning a blind eye to some "junk files" wastes a lot of hard disk space. In fact, "junk files" are not mysterious. we can delete them manually.
Many junk files can be identified by file extensions. For example, *. tmp is a temporary file, *. bak, *. old is a general backup file, *. wbk is a Word backup file, and *. xlk is an Excel backup file.
Next we will start our work. First, press "Win (Windows logo) + F" to bring up the "Find all files" dialog box. Enter "*. tmp ;*. bak ;*. log ;*. old ;*. wbk ;*. xlk. Note that the extension names of adjacent files are separated by semicolons. Search for "all local disks". After the search is completed, press "Ctrl + A" to select all files, right-click and choose "delete ". Don't forget to press Shift at the same time, otherwise the file will only enter the recycle bin.
This is all done!
