SharePoint Workflow visualization visual workflow design. SharePoint is a powerful platform that offers a number of useful features that help us a lot in our daily work. A recent project used workflow, so I learned some ways to share the visual development workflow.
- Workflow Visualization in SharePoint 2010 (using Microsoft Visio 2010)
- Workflow visualization uses the SharePoint 2010 features method of Microsoft Visio 2010 as the authoring tool. To activate this feature, you must use the following:
- Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Designer
- Microsoft Visio 2010 Ultimate (SharePoint and Activation Visio services)
- Silverlight 3.0
Usage ScenariosYou can use Microsoft Visio 2010 (Ultimate Edition) to create a wide variety of sequential workflows all you have to do is:
It's important to noteThe state mechanism workflow is currently not supported.
1. To create a new Visio workflow
Open the Visio drawing software, and then click the File tab.
Click the Flowchart template category and then click Microsoft SharePoint Workflow to start authoring a SharePoint workflow.
2. Write workflow
There are three templates available for SharePoint workflows:
SharePoint Work flow as
SharePoint Workflow Conditions
SharePoint Workflow Terminator
Use the tools above to create your own workflows.
3. Verify that your workflow
The
next step is to validate your workflow so that we can successfully export to SharePoint 2010. To verify the workflow, the user can click the Processes tab and click the button to check the diagram.
If there is a problem with your workflow, a problem window pops up, highlighting the problem with the shape.
Note:
There are some rules that you need to consider during the development of validation workflows, and you can take the following links:

4. Export your workflow to SharePoint Designer
from the following tabs you can export
here Visio verifies that the work of your design can be imported into SPD.
Note that This can also be directly imported using SPD, as follows.
5. test Your Workflow using visualization in SharePoint with Visio services
so the end result is that the workflow is not only executed, the user can easily track progress by visualizing the workflow! For example, in, there is an icon that shows the task "progress" or "done." the tasks assigned to the person are also clearly displayed in the shape of the task:
This is made possible by the Visio service, which makes viewing Visio Web sheets in a SharePoint installation without the need for vector drawing software clients to view.
