Internet Connection Sharing is set up on the machine with ZoneAlarm installed, and when you realize sharing the Internet, you will find that you can't share the Internet, and turn the ZoneAlarm off. The reason is that ZoneAlarm is not set by default to support Nat/ics (Internet Connection Sharing) machines. The workaround is as follows:
1, open ZoneAlarm Control surface version, click Firewall->main->adanvanced. On the Internet Connection sharing page, select this computer is and Ics/nat gateway, and select the address of the network card in local addresses. Click OK to complete the setup.
2, restart the machine. (Note: Turning off the ZoneAlarm restart program may not take effect, it is recommended to reboot the Machine ")
The above test passes on ZoneAlarm 6.0 Pro.
I've been using ZoneAlarm for years and I feel pretty good. Use a few days outpost, feel not ZoneAlarm use convenient. ZoneAlarm and Kaspersky Anti-Virus software on some versions will conflict, I used the ZA 6.0 pro+kav 6.0, in KAV to add za to the trust zone, used very well. za6.0+kav7.0 is no good. ZA 6.5 version +kav 7.0 seems to have a conflict, it is recommended to use the 6.0 version.
