When we do not have a network, we can share our phone hotspots. Some users share their phone wifi hotspots with their computers so that they can access the Internet anytime, anywhere. A computer user using the Win8.1 system reported that when his computer is connected to a mobile phone hotspot, a blue screen or reboot may occur. What's going on? Next we will introduce the solution for blue screen and restart after Win8.1 system connects to the mobile phone hotspot!
Cause:
The wireless signal transmission protocol (802.11n mode) in Intel's NIC Driver conflicts with the signal mode of some mobile phone WIFI hotspots, and has little to do with the version of the wireless NIC Driver.
Solution:
In "Device Manager", change the value of "802.11n mode" under "advanced" to "disabled" in "properties" of the wireless network adapter. Save the settings and restart the network adapter.
