I always like to use optimization masters and other software to optimize my Windows xp system, but the following phenomenon has plagued me for a long time. Sometimes, after a CD is placed in the optical drive, the content of the current CD cannot be correctly displayed whether it is automatically played or when it is turned on with "my computer", and the information of the last CD is always displayed, in addition to browsed files or links, all other files cannot be used during clicking. This means you can only restart your computer at a time, which is very troublesome.
At that time, I thought this problem was caused by increasing the cache capacity of the optical drive during system optimization. However, when I changed the cache to the default state of the system, I still could not solve this problem. After querying information from multiple parties, I finally learned that this is a feature built in Windows XP called "CDROM Mirror. The principle is that when we put a CD, the system will automatically copy some of the images browsed by users in the CD to the cache, this ensures that you do not need to read the content from the CD when reading the content repeatedly, which increases the access speed. In addition, this image has a default time limit, after the past XX minutes (the default value is 5 minutes), XP will automatically reclaim the image to display new content. But it is undoubtedly the "culprit" that hinders us from reading the content of the next CD. Considering that this is not very useful, it also caused a "bad influence", and of course it was "closed and not discussed ". If you have the same confusion as the author before the computer, let me do it with you.

3. Click "Storage> removable storage> Database" in "Computer Management". The optical drive icon installed on the local device is displayed in the right pane.
4. Right-click the optical drive icon and select "properties ". 1.
