Windows 2003 File Upload cannot exceed K solution
Stop IIS, find metabase. xml under windowssystem32inesrv, open metabase. xml in the Event Book, and find ASPMaxRequestEntityAllowed to change it to the expected value. The default value is 204800, that is, 200 K.
Change it to 51200000 (50 M)
Restart the iis admin service.
Solve the problem that SERVER 2003 cannot download attachments larger than 4 MB.
First, disable the iis admin service in the service.
Find the metabase. xml file under windowssystem32inetsrv.
Open it in plain text mode and find AspBufferingLimit to change it to the desired value (20 m or 20480000 ).
Save the disk and restart the iis admin service.
This solves the restrictions on file upload and download in IIS6.0. However, this setting also gave HACKER a chance !!!
