Whether you're using a Win8.1 system for a new computer, or upgrading from an old system, you'll face Metro apps. If you've never used a Win8 system before, the following Metro application tutorials may give you a new perspective on the Windows system.
When you want to start using an application, on the Start screen (if you have fixed the application) or click on the application from the application view. The operations performed on the application depend on the application you have installed, with some basic hints.
View Application Commands
Applying commands can help you perform different operations in your application. For example, in weather applications, an application command can change the temperature from Fahrenheit to degree Celsius. To see which commands you can use in your application, swipe down from the top edge of the screen or swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen, and then click the command you want.
Use the Super button in the application
In many applications, you can use the Super button to search and share content, send files to printers or other devices, and change settings. To use the Super button in the application, swipe it from the right edge of the screen and click on the desired Super button. (If you use the mouse, point the mouse pointer to the upper-right corner of the screen and move down, and then click the Super button you want.) )
Use multiple applications at the same time
When you use multiple applications, you can quickly switch between applications and display up to four applications on the screen (depending on the resolution of your monitor).
Turn off application
Applications in the Windows application store are built into applications and therefore do not degrade computer performance. When you use an application, Windows makes it run in the background and closes it eventually when you no longer use it. However, if you want to close an application and remove it from the view, you can drag the application from the top to the bottom of the screen. (If you use the mouse, click the top of the application and drag it to the bottom of the screen.) )
