In fact, TFS is not used.
A lot of functions won't be used. It's a big waste to be a source code manager...
After the installation is complete, connect to TFs in Vs and open the saved project in source code management (local paths must be set locally)
Open it and you will see the team Resource Manager (which has many functions and is not used in general)
In source code management, there can be multiple team project sets, and each project set can have multiple projects
Find a previous project and add source code management.
Open a project and select Add to source code management.
Set the project name in source code management:
You can see that the project file is changed to the plus sign before
All files are suspended by default:
If there is no problem, check in all:
After the file is moved in, the icon in front of the file is changed.
The encoding area is also displayed.
If it is edited, it will change to the check-out status (expressed as a check-out sign ):
We recommend that you do not directly edit it. You must select "check out" before editing:
Three lock types are available for checkout:
Then you can write the code.
Finally, don't forget to check in to the source code management, or else it will be written in white...
There are other features:
Get a specific version to get the desired version
When viewing the history, you can find the versions you checked in at any time.
Comparison can compare the differences between versions (this is very practical, you can know what has been changed, it is easy to forget after a long time ...)
Have time to try it on your own...
Basic functions are not difficult
Advanced features are not available yet...
