It's not much to say about setting Remote Desktop Connection on the local machine, but note that in the WinXP system on the local machine, right-click "my computer" and choose "properties ", in the displayed dialog box, click the "remote" tab and select "allow users to remotely connect to this computer. Note! If this is not checked, even if someone else invades your machine and uploads the 3389 tool to open your port, it cannot connect to your computer. Second, unlike the original WINNT Terminal Service, Windows XP does not support simultaneous logon by multiple users. If you intrude into the other party's system and create an administrator account, after logging on to 3389 with the newly created account, A folder with the same name as the username you used to log on to 3389 will be generated under % systemroot % Documents and Settings of the other party. It records many of your stuff. The comrades who use bots noticed that it may not be fun to get caught one day. Similarly, after logging on to 3389, many people exit directly by clicking X. This is incorrect. The correct exit method is to select start ----- disconnect.


Also, I don't know how you upload the tool after logging on to the Remote Desktop, TFTP ?? My method is to Open QQ and transfer it on the local QQ ...... this method is suitable for common users. WinConnect Server is currently the latest version of WinConnect Server XP. Its developer, bosoft, provides a free trial version for users to download. The URL is http://www.thinsoftinc.com/download/winconnect-serverxp/setup.exe. the Software size is 8.40mb.

The trial version can be fully functional for 7 days. In addition, each Remote Workstation can be connected for only 30 minutes and will be automatically disabled after 30 minutes.
The installation of WinConnect Server is simple. You only need to click "Next" to complete the installation. After the installation is complete, restart the system and the WinConnect Server can start the service.

Attribute settings

After the WinConnect Server trial version is installed, a message box will pop up every time the system is started to log on to the system, reminding the user of the term of use of the software and the automatic shutdown time of the workstation. At this time, you use Remote Desktop Connection to log on to the host, and you can find that the system no longer automatically exits as before.

Next, we will perform some basic attribute settings for the WinConnect Server. Double-click the "WinConnect Server XP Control Center" shortcut created by the Program on the desktop and log on to the WinConnect Server XP console.
WinConnect Server provides two language interfaces: Chinese and English. You can click "options"/"set language" and select your preferred language interface in the open language selection box, the default value is Chinese.

Setting host properties in the WinConnect Server console is extremely simple: first select the current host in the host list on the left, such as ZJNU-0000, click action → properties ", in this case, the program displays the server information, server settings, and RDP settings of the current host in the form of a list.

You can see that there is a ">" symbol in front of some list items, which indicates that this list item can be set. Double-click the option and set the option value in the pop-up dialog box. For example, to set that each Remote Desktop client connected to the host has an independent Temporary Folder, double-click the "each session has a separate Temporary Folder" list item, in the displayed dialog box, select "yes" and click "OK" to close the window.

After the configuration is complete, a Windows XP instance that supports multi-user logon is successfully set up. When you log on to the host using a Remote Desktop client program (for hosts with Remote Desktop Web Support installed, you can also log on through a browser), and you can find that the system will not automatically log off as before.

After the WinConnect Server is installed, Remote Desktop also supports copying and pasting files between the local host and remote host. At the same time, the 128-bit encryption method ensures the communication security between the client and the server, which is more reassuring than the default use of plaintext transmission account information for Remote Desktop.
