IDC research shows that China's IoT industry will reach $2014 in 0.752 billion and $2017 in 2.049 billion.

It is understood that the applications of many branches of IOT, such as IOV, Smart Home, smart transportation, and smart city, all need to use a massive amount of sensing devices to receive all kinds of sensing data in real time. In the process of data collection, wireless networks cannot be connected through wired networks. After all, sensor devices do not have a large volume, and wireless networks play a decisive role. Compared with 3G networks, 4G has a faster speed. 4G features high bandwidth, high speed, and low latency. The maximum speed can reach 80 Mbps, therefore, it can support a wide range of wireless network applications and meet the requirements of almost all users for wireless networks. At present, the three major operators have set off a 4G network construction boom. China Mobile announced that by the end of 2014, it will build 0.35 million base stations in multiple cities in China to comprehensively promote the pace of 4G business application. China Unicom also has a clear attitude, with the widest range of terminals, the most mature technology, the fastest network speed, the widest roaming, and the most affordable price, it continues to provide users with the most convenient experience. Wang Xiaochu, chairman of China Telecom, also said that LTE (4G) lab network construction will be increased this year.
