First, switch to Win8 desktop mode, right-click the lower left corner of the screen, and select the command prompt (Admin) option in the pop-up menu. Enter "netsh wlan show drivers" at the command prompt to see "supported hosting Networks" in the results and "yes" to create hotspots.
To view supported hosting networks
In the command prompt, enter the netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow Ssid=abszero Key=password. After "ssid=" for the wireless network name, "Key=" after the wireless network password, the above can be defined, but the password requires at least 8 digits.
Setting up a hosted network mode
The following virtual network adapter adapters (first name changes) can be found in the network connection device. Next, you can turn on the wireless hotspot by using the Netsh wlan start hostednetwork command.
Open a wireless hotspot
Share Internet connections on the network on which this computer is connecting.
Shared connections
At this point, a mobile phone or other device can already connect through the wireless hotspot. If you want to turn off the wireless hotspot and turn on command prompt mode again, enter the netsh wlan stop hostednetwork to shut down.
