Hardware environment: VMware Workstation 6.0 + SuSE enterprise server10.0
Personal Network Environment: ADSL + Modern + router (vro supports dynamic IP allocation) + personal PC (Windows XP)
1. install and configure an SuSE server (select to share the Internet with the host using NAT). After FuXi is installed, you can access the external webpage on the Fuxi server, on the host machine, you can connect to Fuxi through SSH.
2. clone a complete SuSE system using the clone provided by VMware. The virtual machine system is named SuSE enterprise in turn.
Sever1, Suse enterprise sever2, Suse enterprise sever3 3. fixed the problem of ifconfig
Eth0 not found
1) enter/etc/sysconfig/Network/
2) Run CP ifcfg-eth-id-00: XX ifcfg-eth0 in this directory
3) enter/etc/udev/rules. d/
4). Vim 30-net_persistent_names.rules
5) Delete the row set for eth0 in the above file, and change eth1 in the second row to eth0.
6). Reboot
Now we want to build the following two networks:
Network: SuSE enterprise sever1, Suse enterprise sever2. The host machine is in a peer-to-peer network and has an independent IP address. You can directly access the Internet through an IP address.
Network B:Fuxi and Suse enterprise sever3 are in the same network and have no external IP addresses. They must access the external network through the Host IP address.
Network a solution: 1. Use Bridging Mode for virtual ethernet Settings 2. Use vmnet0 default Virtual Network
Network B Solution: 1. Use Nat to set the Ethernet Access Mode for Fuxi. 2. Use Enterprise sever3 to select a custom virtual network and choose vmnet8 (NAT)
