The host cannot find vmnet1 and vmnet8, and the host vmnet1vmnet8
When I ran the program today, I suddenly found that the virtual machine could not be pinged to the host. it was feasible to return it. The firewall was set up, but it still did not work. Later I found that, you can no longer see vmnet1 and vmnet8 in the network and sharing center. To change the adapter settings, you only need local connections and broadband connections. You just need to make one setting:
If the red box in the figure is not selected, select it. (I Don't Know Who moved my computer. I can't help it ).
For more information about the general experience of ping through the host and virtual machine, see: personal experience of ping through the Virtual Machine Development Board.
The installed VMnet1 and VMnet8 cannot be found on the XP physical server.
Open "edit"-"Virtual Network Settings" in VM"
Find "host virtual adapter" and click "add ".
Add the NIC you want and restart it.
Why is there no VMnet8 or VMnet1 after I install VMWARE?
These two are not used in this way. The network of the host is used by default.
