Dion hoe-lian Goh is the associate computing sor of Nanyang Technological University. Human computation games (HCGs) is one of his current research directions.
This article introduces a mobile hCG-splash (seek, play, share) developed by the author ), this application is characterized by the use of games to encourage users to share location-based information (mainly comments ). Here are some excerpts:
1. Games in this application can be divided into two types (S3 ):
- Informational mini-games: these games are often based on peripheral content. By participating in these games, you can obtain peripheral information. For example, it can be a jigsaw puzzle.
- Casual mini-games: these games are purely for entertainment purposes.
2. (S2) mentioned some existing HCGs based on mobile devices: cityexplorer, Gopher game, eyespy, and indagator. (S3) describes the splash application in detail.
3. (S5) provides some experiment data about the application, such as the time period, location, and scenario. For more information, see.
As shown in the figure, the maximum time used for this application is around, and the location is at home. The scenario is idle.
4. the type of shared content is also provided in (S5. Right: users share most information about food, emotion, and location.
