[TL-TR961 2000 full Netcom] using a mobile phone to set up a router to access the Internet

I. Application introduction

TL-TR961 2000 full Netcom is compatible with China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile three major operators of 2G/3G/4G all network standard, easy to convert 4G signal to wireless Wi-Fi. The vro comes with a battery, which provides wireless Wi-Fi for smartphones, tablets, and laptops during travel and outdoors to achieve shared internet access.

This article describes how to set up a router to access the Internet using a mobile phone.

 

II. Setting method

1, InstallationUIM/SIMCard

Open the back cover of the router housing, remove the battery, and put the UIM card or SIM card into the card slot, as shown in the figure below:

After a SIM card is inserted into the vro, the vro can automatically identify the carrier and connect to the internet. You do not need to manually set Internet parameters.

2Default wireless signal for mobile phone connection to vro

After the UIM card or SIM card is installed, press the power key for about 2 seconds to start the router. The router sends a wireless signal of the TL-LINK_4G_XXXX by default, use the phone to search and connect to this signal, as shown below:

Note:: If the default factory signal cannot be found, it may have been set. We recommend that youReset vro.

3, Login vro Management Interface

After the wireless signal of the router is successfully connected, the browser of the mobile phone will automatically pop up the login interface of the router, as shown in the figure below:

Note::

A. If the logon page cannot be displayed automatically, open the browser and manually enter 192.168.1.253 to log on.

B. If the vro is not connected to IoT platform, the password management page is displayed.

ClickWireless Settings, You need to set the vro management password. This password will be used to log on to the vro interface later. This password is not a Wi-Fi connection password. As follows:

Note:: The password is 6-15 characters long.

4 Set Router Wireless parameters

After logging on to the vro interface, modify the wireless network name (SSID) and wireless password of the vro, and select the wireless band used by the vro, as shown in the figure below:

Note:: The SSID does not support Chinese characters. You can select GHz or 5 GHz for the wireless band. The two cannot work at the same time.

ClickComplete, The page prompts you to restart the router, as shown in the following figure:

ClickOKWait until the vro restart is complete.

After the restart, the vro is automatically connected to the internet. Wireless laptops, mobile phones, and tablets can connect to the set wireless signals (zhangsan in this article). Enter the wireless password and connect to the Internet. Enable the power button when you need to use it later.
