1, verify LAN port IP and the main router is different

The LAN port IP address of the secondary router must be different from that of the primary router, otherwise the terminal in the network may not be able to access the Internet because of an address conflict.

It is recommended to modify the conflict-less IP address of the same network segment, for example, the IP address of the primary router is 192.168.1.1, and the IP address of the secondary router is modified to 192.168.1.X (2≤x≤254); The primary router is 192.168.0.1, the IP address of the secondary router is modified to 192.168.0.X.

2. Verify that the DHCP server is closed

Be sure to turn off the secondary router's DHCP server, or the terminal may obtain an IP address from the secondary router, causing the Internet to be unavailable. Make sure that only one DHCP server is left on the network. Locate the DHCP server in the Admin interface and click Close.

Note After you modify the LAN port IP address or shut down the DHCP server, be sure to reboot the secondary router to ensure that your computer gets the correct address.

If the main router sets the Internet management function such as filtering or binding, the terminal connected to the secondary router will not be able to surf the Internet if it is not in the list. It is recommended that you turn off Internet control, parental controls, and ARP bindings (IP and MAC address bindings) that are set on the primary router and try to surf the internet again after shutting down.

During setting up the bridging process, check the signal strength of the secondary router to the primary router. If the strength is weak, the communication between the two routers may be unstable.

Please close the secondary router to the main router and try the Internet again. When WDS wireless bridging, it is recommended that the secondary router search the primary router for a signal strength of more than 2 or greater than 20dB.
