Ubuntu 12.04 lts Install Windows fonts

1. For convenience, copy the Windows fonts to ~/winfonts first.

I have copied all the files under "/windows/fonts/" and then removed the non-font files that are not. ttf.

2. In order not to confuse the original file, create the destination folder.

1	sudomkdir/usr/share/fonts/winfonts

3. Copy the font file.

1	sudocp~/WinFonts/* /usr/share/fonts/winfonts

4. Modify the permissions. (Personal knowledge of Linux rights Management is not very good)

12	cd/usr/share/fonts/winfontssudo chmod744 *

5. "Generate core character information".

123	sudomkfontscalesudo mkfontdirsudofc-cache -f -v

The installation process is complete and the logoff takes effect.
