Tested system Versions later than 12.04 are 32bit and 64bit.
The most basic method is to download and install the installation package on the official website, and then create a command shortcut. We recommend that you use another method to directly use the command line command for installation, which is much simpler. After the installation is complete, enter subl or sublime-text in the command line to enable it, you can also find the shortcut in the software manager to lock it to the Quick Start bar.
You can run the following three commands (add software source, upgrade, and install software ):
Sudo add-Apt-repository PPA: webupd8team/sublime-text-2sudo apt-Get updatesudo apt-Get install sublime-Text
Now you can use the subl command to easily call up sublime text.
Step 2: Make some basic configurations. First install the plug-in Package Manager (sublime package Control): Use the shortcut key Ctrl + '(left side of the keypad number key 1) to bring up the command debugging window and copy the following code.
Import urllib2, OS; pF = 'package control. sublime-package '; IPP = sublime. installed_packages_path (); OS. makedirs (IPP) if not OS. path. exists (IPP) else none; open (OS. path. join (iPP, PF), 'wb '). write (urllib2.urlopen ('HTTP: // sublime.wbond.net/'{pf.replace ('', '% 20 ')). read (); print ('Please restart sublime text to finish installation ')
Restart and complete the modification.
