Uninstall content server in EMC-Windows

Uninstall order

1. if full-text search is installed, disable and uninstall the index agent first.

2. Disable Repository

3. If full-text search is installed, disable and uninstall the Index Server.

4. Delete Repository

5. Delete the local connectiob Broker

6. Uninstall Content Server Software

7. If full-text search is installed, uninstall index agent configuration program.

Delete Repository

1. If you have installed CTS (content transformation services), uninstall this

2. Start-> Documentum server manager,

Enter the docbase tab in the displayed dialog. Select respository and click Delete.

3. Click Next in the displayed dialog.

4. Enter the installation owner Password

5. You will be prompted to run the database script to delete tablespace. Remember the location of the script file prompted on the page and click OK.

Delete Connection Broker

1. Start-> Documentum server manager,

Enter the docbroker tab in the displayed dialog. Select respository and click Delete.

2. Click Next in the displayed dialog.

3. Enter the installation owner Password

4. Click OK.

Uninstall Content Server Software

1. The repositories and connection brokers are deleted in the preceding two steps.

2. Start-> Settings-> Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs. Remove in the following order

1) Documentum Content Server

2) Documentum task chaining framework

3) Documentum Application Server

4) Documentum service wrapper

5) If this machine has software for installing and using other EMC Documentum (such as Application Builder and workflow manager), do not perform this step

Otherwise remove: DFC Runtime Environment
