VMware installation CentOS system graphics and text tutorial

VMware Install CentOS6.2 Cancel Easy Install mode (this mode is not good, many software is not installed)

Method/Step

　　Setting up the Installation Wizard

　　Open WMware Workstation 8, then select New Virtual Machine

New Virtual Machine Wizard

Select a custom (Advanced) (C) and then click the "Next" button

Choose virtual Machine Hardware compatibility

Select Workstation 8.0 and click the "Next" button

Installing the client operating system

Note: Here choose me to install the operating system later (S) do not select (the second option) installation disk image file (ISO) (m), if you choose this, installation, for easy Install mode, a lot of software can not be.

Select me to install the operating system later (S) then click the "Next" button

Select a client operating system

The client operating system chooses the Linux version (V), selects CentOS (to install the Linux version), and then clicks the Next button.

Naming virtual machines

Virtual machine Name: CentOS (or CentOS6.2 custom name), Location: f:virtual Machinescentos virtual machine needs to install the location (generally installed in a blank disk character) such as F disk only do Linux. So install it on the F disk and then click the "Next" button

Processor configuration

No changes here, just point to "next"

Virtual Machine Memory settings

You can adjust yourself here, and then click Next.

Network memory

Choose to use a bridging network because we installed it using a virtual machine. So choose to use the Bridging network and then click the "Next" button

Select I/O Controller type

Select disk

Choose to create a new virtual disk and then click the "Next" button

Select a disk type

Select SCSI (recommended) and click the "Next" button

Specify disk capacity

Allocate disk size defaults to 20GB, then select Virtual Disk split into multiple files do not select all disk space immediately and then click the "Next" button

Specify disk files

No changes here, just point to "next"

Complete

　　Then click the "Finish" button to complete the New Virtual Machine Wizard configuration here. Next, please see series two.
