Windows Mobile 6 extends the Windows desktop family to Windows Mobile-based devices. Windows Mobile is based on Windows Embedded ce and supports. NET Compact framework.

Features provided by this platform include enhanced security and seamless data connections; rich API support such as Bluetooth and poom; extensive programming modes support both local code, hosted code, and mobile network development; and device resources such as multithreading.
