When the computer used for a period of time, the process of running more and more slowly, sometimes there are blue screen, crash and other phenomena, the computer running noise is also more and more big ... My beloved computer is no longer the color of the original, what is going on in the end? This is mainly because you do not maintain your computer. The computer also needs to be maintained on a regular basis to ensure it works properly. If you do not know how to maintain the computer, follow the author to do it.
Cleaning hardware
Computer use of a long time, dust, debris and other dirt will be inside the fuselage, external accumulation, these factors are harmful to the health of the computer. Therefore, in peacetime or for some time to clean the computer is very necessary.
First, cleaning tools
Computer maintenance does not require a very complex tool, general dust removal and maintenance only need to prepare a Phillips screwdriver, flat mouth screwdriver, paint brush (or oil painting pens, common brush hair removal is not suitable to use) on it. If you want to clean the floppy drive, the internal drive, you also need to prepare the lens swab, hair dryer, anhydrous alcohol, absorbent cotton ball, clock screwdriver, tweezers, fur tiger, paper clips, watch oil (or sewing machine oil), butter.
II. Matters of note
1. Before opening the chassis, you must confirm the warranty period of each accessory of the computer.
Note: In the warranty period of the brand machine it is recommended not to open the chassis themselves to clean, because this means that the loss of warranty rights. During the warranty period, the brand machine can get the repair point to ask professionals to carry out the internal dust removal.
2. Pay attention to the hands must be handled lightly, because the computer components are precision instruments, especially hard disk, if dropped to the ground that die.
3. When the removal of attention to the location of the plug wiring, such as hard drive cable, floppy cable, power cord, etc., in order to restore correctly. Tip: The direction of these wiring can be recorded, so as not to restore errors, resulting in the computer can not start normally.
4. When the parts are fixed with screws, the position of the parts should be aligned first and then the screws will be tightened. In particular, the motherboard, a slight position deviation may lead to poor card contact; motherboard installation is not likely to cause the memory, adapter card contact bad or even short circuit, for a while may even occur deformation caused failure.
5. Because of the use of MOS technology in the IC devices on the computer board, this semiconductor device is very sensitive to electrostatic pressure. When people or objects with static electricity touch These devices, electrostatic release will be generated, and the release of electrostatic high pressure will damage these devices. Pay special attention to electrostatic protection when maintaining your computer.
Tip: You can wash your hands before you do the operation and contact the grounded metal objects to release the static electricity on your body. If you can find anti-static gloves (Figure 1) Best.
When you have the tools in your mind, you can start cleaning your computer after you know what to do with your actions.
Third, the external equipment cleaning
1. The monitor is clean. The cleaning of the display is divided into two parts of enclosure and display.
The main reason for the black and yellowing of step 1 shell is the pollution of dust and indoor soot. Special detergents (Fig. 2) can be used to restore the true nature of the shell.
Step 2 Use a soft brush to clean the dust at the gap in the heat sink (Figure 3). Gently sweep along the direction of the gap and assist in blowing the dust off with a blow-air vessel.
Step 3 and for the screen cleaning is a little trouble, because the display now has a protective coating, so in the cleaning can not use any solvent-based detergent, you can use glasses cloth or lens paper wipe. Wipe direction should be carried out in one direction, and many times to replace the cloth cloth, to prevent the possession of dirt on the fabric again scratch coating.
Tip: If there is oil on the screen, you can use a small amount of water moist lens paper to clean. If it is a liquid crystal display, you can clean the first brush with the brush off the surface of the dust screen, and then clean the camera lens with the special lens paper to wipe.
2. Keyboard and mouse cleaning.
Step 1, turn the keyboard upside down, slap the keyboard, and Kari the chip that caused the keyboard to take out the keyboard.
Tip: In order to avoid debris into the keyboard, the daily cleaning of the keyboard is very important, you can use a soft and clean wet cloth to wipe the keyboard and brush to remove the debris falling into the keyboard gap (Figure 4).
Step 2 Use a neutral cleanser or a computer-specific cleanser to remove stains that are difficult to remove on the keyboard, scrub with a damp cloth and dry the keyboard.
Step 3 Use a cotton swab to clean the dirt inside the keyboard gap.
Tip: Do not use medical alcohol for all cleaning work to avoid corrosion of plastic parts. The cleaning process must be done in the shutdown state. Use the damp cloth not to be too wet, lest the water enter the keyboard inside.
Similarly, after a long time of use of the mouse, will also appear to listen to the command of the situation. Then it is necessary to dust the process. Generally speaking, the mechanical mouse only needs to clean the "body" in the rolling ball and scroll axis (Figure 5) can be.
Step 1 unscrew the screws on the bottom of the mouse and turn the mouse on.
Step 2 use detergent to clear the mouse roll ball and the dirt on the rolling shaft, then the mouse can be installed.
Tip: If the mouse is still in warranty period, please do not remove the mouse, this will lose warranty.
Because of the use of the photoelectric mouse more sealed design, so dust and dirt will not enter the interior. When using the mouse, it is best to use the mouse pad, which will prevent dust and dirt into the mouse.
3. The cleaning of the chassis shell. Because the chassis is usually placed under the computer table, often not too much attention to cleanliness, chassis shell easily attached to dust and dirt. We can use a dry cloth to clear off the dust, and then use a cloth dipped in detergent to rub some stubborn stains, and then brush lightly off the chassis behind the surface of various interfaces of dust can be.
Iv. internal cleaning of the mainframe
After the cleaning of the external equipment, the most important internal cleaning of the host will begin. Because the chassis is not sealed, so after a period of time inside the chassis will accumulate a lot of dust, so the computer hardware operation is very unfavorable, too much dust is very easy to cause computer malfunction, and even the serious consequences of burning hardware, so the internal dust removal is very important, and need to be implemented regularly, Generally three months of dust removal is advisable. The above work needs to be done on a regular basis, the usual cleaning of the time by the way to simply clean the computer shell.
1. Disassemble the host.
Note: Before demolition, must turn off the machine, and then put away the static electricity or wear anti-static gloves before you can do the following operation.
Step 1 First Unplug all the peripherals on the back side of the chassis and use a screwdriver to unscrew the rear of the chassis and remove the chassis cover.
Step 2 then lay down the host, make the motherboard down, use a screwdriver to unscrew the bar along the fixed card, then pinch the top edge of the interface card with both hands, and pull the interface card up vertically (Figure 6).
Step 3 Then unplug the hard drive, the optical drive, and the floppy drive from the horizontal direction, pulling the cable out the same way as the power cord, and then using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the drive bracket on either side of the drive holder and remove the driver.
Step 4 Unscrew the chassis with the power supply four screws and remove the power supply (Figure 7).
Tip: When screwing the last screw, be sure to hold the power supply with the other hand. Otherwise, the power supply will fall off and hit the motherboard.
Step 5 Unplug the various wiring plugs that are plugged into the motherboard. In the removal of the power supply of the two-row 20-pin plug, pay attention to the plug has a small plastic card, pinch it and then straight up to pull off the power plug.
Hint: Because these plugs are more complicated on the motherboard, we suggest that we should make a good record before unplugging these plugs, such as the color of the plug wiring, the position of the socket, the arrangement of socket pins, etc. to facilitate the removal of the dust after completion.
Step 6 with a little bit of force, the memory slot at both ends of the plastic clip to pull out, so that the memory can jump out, remove the memory bar.
Step 7 when removing the CPU heatsink, press the distal shrapnel and let the shrapnel out of the card slot of the CPU socket remove the CPU heatsink (Figure 8).
Step 8 Unscrew the motherboard and chassis fixed screws to remove the motherboard from the chassis.
2. Start cleaning up. When the demolition is complete, the next step is to dust them and return them to their original appearance.
Step 1 Clean the motherboard. Use a brush to clean up the dust on the surface of the motherboard first. Then use the oil pen to clean various slots, drive connector plugs (Figure 9). Then use a fur tiger or hair dryer to blow the dust.
Tip: If there is grease in the socket metal pin, you can use absorbent cotton ball with computer-specific detergent or anhydrous ethanol removal.
Step 2 Clean the memory strips and adapter cards. You can use a brush to clean a variety of adapter cards and the surface of the memory dust, and then blow clean with a fur tiger. Wipe off the front and back of the cards with an eraser and remove the dust, grease or oxide layer (Figure 10).
Step 3 Clean the CPU cooling fan. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the fixed screw on the fan and remove the cooling fan. Gently swab the fan blades and edges with a smaller brush, then blow the dust clean with a blown balloon. Then use a brush or a damp cloth to wipe the dust on the heatsink.
