1. First, check whether the port shadow you set is correctly mapped to your intranet server. Whether the IP address of the forwarding rule you set is the IP address of your server.
2. Check whether the server is enabled. You can use other computers in the Lan to access your server. Check whether the server is enabled and can be accessed successfully.
3. Check whether you have mapped all the ports required by the server. It is possible that the ports required to access the server are not fully set, resulting in access failure. You can enable "DMZ host" to check whether the port is not fully mapped. If the DMZ host is enabled and the server can be accessed normally, the port may not be completely added. For example, network cameras and special application software. If you do not know the communication port, you can first try the DMZ host to confirm whether it can be used. If you can, you are advised to consult the software provider.
4. Check whether "firewall" is set on the vro and whether to filter the port for server communication, resulting in access failure. We recommend that you disable the firewall first.
5. disable the firewall of the intranet server host. Because the primary network is in a trusted area, the firewall does not block access from the local network. If the source address is an internet address (an untrusted area address ), it may be blocked by the firewall and cannot be accessed.
6. Whether the intranet server is a web server based on port 80. If it is a web server, you need to modify the vro remote management port to a non-Port 80 to avoid conflicts between the two.
7. check whether the ING of the virtual server is successful. Access from the Internet is required. Do not use the WAN port IP address to access the virtual server from the intranet. In this way, access from the Internet is successful, but access from the Internet is not successful.
8. the service provider shields the corresponding ports: a computer is connected to the WAN port of the router to simulate the intranet and Internet environments. If the computer connected to the WAN port can normally access the intranet server, but cannot access the server over the Internet, this may be because the server blocks the corresponding port and the virtual server cannot be accessed (for example, starting from January 1, December 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China requires the operator to block port 80 of all individual broadband lines ).
9. Make sure that your intranet server can be applied in the NAT environment. Broadband routers are generally based on NAT principles. Please contact your software service provider/equipment provider to check whether the software/device supports access under the NAT device.
