Method 1 enable the Windows Defender Service
1. Click start, and then type the service in the Start search box in the search program and file (Windows 7) or (Windows Vista.

3. Scroll down until you see the Windows Defender service. Double-click the Windows Defender service.
4. Click Start type, and then click automatic.
5. restart the computer and enable Windows Firewall.

1. Visit http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspxto download msert.
2. Double-click to install.
3. After installation, you will be moved to your desktop and double-click the Microsoft Security Scanner icon.
4. Select all terms for accepting the above license agreement, and click Next twice.
5. Click quick scan, and then click Next.
6. The Microsoft Security Scanner scans your computer and deletes all malware.
