Problem Description
When you set a simulated AP, the system prompts that the simulated AP is successfully set. When you select Internet Connection Sharing, the options are blank, as shown in the figure below:
Solution
1
, Simulation
AP
Setting failed
When configuring a simulated AP, the system prompts "configuring SoftAP mode failed. Please check and disconnect the point-to-point network or restart the NIC ." After you click OK, the Internet Connection Sharing of the simulated AP is blank. We recommend that you disconnect the point-to-point network and exit the client software to reset the simulated AP.
2, Uninstall the client program and reinstall
Before the computer has installed TP-LINK wireless network card driver and client program, but after replacing the wireless network card, did not uninstall the network card driver and client program in the control panel, at this time, you can insert different models of wireless NICs and install the driver, which may cause exceptions in the client program (no wireless Nic is detected or no device is detected when the analog AP is configured ). We recommend that you uninstall the client program on the control panel of your computer and reinstall it .,
3Wireless network card does not support the operating system of the current application
If the wireless network card does not publish the client application in Windows 10, you can install the wireless network card client program in Windows 10, however, exceptions may occur when a client is used (for example, when the client program is dimmed, the Internet connection option is blank when the simulated AP is set, and when the simulated AP is set, the system always prompts "the simulated AP is being configured, please wait)
