These notifications are meant to remind you that WIN10 is about to be launched and that you will be able to install a free upgrade version within a specified period of time after the system is launched.
9. If you do not receive a notice, can you continue booking?
Not all devices will display notifications at the same time, so we may have some latency when we launch WIN10 to all supported devices. Here are a few other possible reasons why you cannot see the upgrade notification:
• Your device is not running Win7 SP1 or Win8.1 update.
• Need to check the version of Windows you are running? View here for instructions.
• You are running the Windows Enterprise Edition.
• Windows Automatic Updates are not enabled on your device.
• Your device may not meet the minimum system requirements.
• Your device is not connected to the Internet.
However, if your device meets the requirements, we will continue to study updates that can improve the device experience (such as publishing new drivers).

16. What does it mean to be incompatible with some content?
Our goal is to make most devices compatible with WIN10 and not to have significant incompatibility issues. However, in some cases, you may encounter this problem. Typically, incompatibility issues can be grouped into the following four categories:
• Application incompatibility-incompatible applications indicate that the application can be run on your current computer, but may not function properly on WIN10. Incompatible applications may have only unimportant functional problems, or they may not work at all. In some cases, we may need you to uninstall the application during the upgrade process because it interferes with the installation process and prevents it from completing properly. Depending on your application, you may be able to reinstall the application after you upgrade to WIN10.
• Incompatible devices-incompatible devices indicate that the device can be run on your current computer, but may no longer function properly on WIN10 due to lack of driver support. This can result in an experience demotion (for example, the monitor does not support high resolution) or the entire device cannot run. However, the manufacturer may provide support for the equipment in the future. Some devices or computer components may be critical to ensuring Win10 uptime, and you will not be able to upgrade to WIN10 if such devices are incompatible.
• Computer Settings-A specific configuration of your computer may cause WIN10 to be installed on this computer. In some cases, you can take steps to mitigate this problem during the installation process. In other cases, we may require a fresh installation of Win10, which means that only your personal files will be retained after the upgrade is complete.
Windows Media center-If you use Windows Media Center, we will remind you that Windows Media Center is not available on Win10.
