There's just an out-of-the-box HP DL380 G5, today trying to use this server to build an iSCSI storage space and connect to a vsphere host.
System: Windows Server Storage Server, vsphere 5.0
General installation system, add domain.
I. Network-related configuration
Because Windows Server 2012 started to support multiple NIC bundles directly, no additional software tools were needed, so we bundled 2 ports to increase bandwidth and availability of iSCSI traffic.
Click on the local server in Server Manager and click NIC Teaming.
Select the port to participate in the bundle, select bundle mode, set up the port group

For more information on group mode, please refer to http://technet.microsoft.com/zh-cn/library/hh831648.aspx
In short, 1 and 2 do not need to configure the switch, 3 require the switch for LACP configuration
We choose the Switch independent, load Balancing mode, we select the hash.
After creation, the IP address needs to be reconfigured on the generated port group, and the configuration on the NIC will all be invalidated.

Next, the configuration of vsphere is done in vcenter.
Go to the homepage, network-related configuration, and create a new distributed switch dedicated to iSCSI data traffic.
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/53/DB/wKiom1RylAHA9HVOAAK7oW3LC30404.jpg "title=" 4.png " alt= "Wkiom1rylaha9hvoaak7ow3lc30404.jpg"/>
In a formal production environment, it is strongly recommended that all network-related configurations be placed in distributed switch.
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/53/D9/wKioL1RylYCyvjHWAAFuOtiyAR0540.jpg "title=" 5.jpg " alt= "Wkiol1rylycyvjhwaafuotiyar0540.jpg"/>
Configure the port on the corresponding VLAN, and see the corresponding distributed switch on the vsphere host after starting the configuration later.

Assign a port group to the virtual adapter and configure the IP.

In the vsphere host configuration, go to the storage adapter and select Add.

After you add the iSCSI storage adapter, add the iSCSI network card in the adapter properties.

Two. Configure iSCSI
Configuring iSCSI on an iSCSI server
Check the iSCSI related options in the Add Roles and Features wizard and complete the installation by default next step.
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/53/DA/wKioL1RyoNDA41eTAAHl6UzONDY978.jpg "title=" 10.jpg "alt=" Wkiol1ryonda41etaahl6uzondy978.jpg "/>
After the role installation is complete, configure iSCSI to use the iSCSI private network ports that are ready for iSCSI
Select iSCSI Target Settings
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/53/DB/wKioL1RyqVmhxPpEAAM1eg18PWQ900.jpg "title=" 12.jpg "alt=" Wkiol1ryqvmhxppeaam1eg18pwq900.jpg "/>
Cancel the tick on the management interface

Create a name that is easy to distinguish and manage, and then select New iSCSI target after assigning size
Add an iSCSI target, which is the IP address of the dedicated network adapter configured on our vsphere host to access iSCSI
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/53/DD/wKiom1RyqkGi7FLrAAMcKzeAakY742.jpg "title=" 14.jpg "alt=" Wkiom1ryqkgi7flraamckzeaaky742.jpg "/>
For the authentication method, we do not use any authentication method for the time being, keep the default configuration, the next step is to complete the disk creation of iSCSI.
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/53/DB/wKioL1RyqxiASgNQAAHIPXPp62U586.jpg "title=" 15.jpg "alt=" Wkiol1ryqxiasgnqaahipxpp62u586.jpg "/>
As you can see, the target status of the currently created iSCSI disk is not connected

Three. Configuring iSCSI connections
Back to the storage adapter in the vsphere host to continue the configuration
Select Properties in the iSCSI adapter, enter the IP address and port of the iSCSI server in dynamic discovery (default is 3260)
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/53/DE/wKiom1RyssmTUtPnAAQTZSy-WaU509.jpg "title=" 17.jpg "alt=" Wkiom1ryssmtutpnaaqtzsy-wau509.jpg "/>
Once you're sure, follow the prompts to rescan the storage adapter and you'll see the new iSCSI disk in a moment.
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/53/DC/wKioL1RytDiiawpUAANEV0qPBQQ852.jpg "title=" 18.jpg "alt=" Wkiol1rytdiiawpuaanev0qpbqq852.jpg "/>
iSCSI targets for this disk can also be seen on iSCSI servers (vsphere hosts)
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/53/DC/wKioL1RytTDR7O9sAALH0Sju3q0799.jpg "title=" 20.jpg "alt=" Wkiol1ryttdr7o9saalh0sju3q0799.jpg "/>
Finally, let vsphere format the iSCSI disk
Select Add Storage in Vsphere's storage options, select Disk/lun, Next, and finally select the maximum available space in the capacity, which makes it easier to expand iSCSI disks later.
650) this.width=650; "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/53/DE/wKiom1RytPXTdnrDAAP-o-ak50A590.jpg "title=" 19.jpg "alt=" Wkiom1rytpxtdnrdaap-o-ak50a590.jpg "/>
Once the format is complete, we can use this iSCSI disk.

Our virtual machines can also be vmotion to this iSCSI disk
