Windows Keyboard Shortcuts tab and window shortcut keys
CTRL + N Opens a new window.
Ctrl+t Opens a new tab page.
Ctrl+shift+n Opens a new window in Incognito mode.
Press Ctrl+o, and then select File. Open a file on your computer via Google Chrome.
Hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the link, or click the link with the middle mouse button (or the mouse wheel). Open the link from the background in a new tab.
Press and hold ctrl+shift while clicking the link, or hold down shift while using the middle mouse button (or mouse wheel) to click the link. Open the link in the new tab and switch to the tab you just opened.

ctrl+1 to ctrl+8 Switch to the tab for the specified position number in the tab bar.
Ctrl+9 Switch to the Last tab page.
ctrl+tab or ctrl+pgdown Switch to the next tab page.
ctrl+shift+tab or ctrl+pgup Switch to the previous tab page.
alt+f4 or ctrl+shift+w Closes the current window.
ctrl+w or ctrl+f4 Close the current tab or pop-up window.
Click the tabs with the middle mouse button (or the mouse wheel). Close the tab that you clicked.
Right-click or tap and hold the back or forward arrows in the browser toolbar. Displays your browsing history in a new tab.
Press the Backspace key, or press Alt and the left ARROW key at the same time. Go to the previous page in the current tab's browsing history.
Press Shift+backspace, or press Alt and the right ARROW key at the same time. Go to the next page in the current tab's browsing history.
Press and hold the Ctrl key while tapping the back arrow, forward arrow, or Go button in the toolbar, or click one of the buttons with the middle mouse button (or the mouse wheel). The target page for the button to open from the background in the New tab page.
Double-click the blank area of the tab bar. Maximizes or minimizes the window.
Alt+home Opens the home page in the current window.
Google Chrome features shortcut keys
alt+f or alt+e or F10 Open the Chrome menu to customize and control settings in Google Chrome.
Ctrl+shift+b Opens and closes the bookmarks bar.
Ctrl+h Open the history page.
Ctrl+j Open the Download content page.
Ctrl+shift+esc Open Task Manager.
Shift+alt+t Sets the focus on the first tool in the browser toolbar. You can then use the following shortcut keys to move around the toolbar:
  • Press the tab, Shift+tab, Home, End, right , and left arrows to move the focus to the various options in the toolbar.
  • Press SPACEBAR or Enter to activate a toolbar button, including Web page actions and browser actions.
  • Press SHIFT+F10 to open the relevant right-click menu (for example, the browsing history associated with the Back button).
  • Press ESC to move the focus from the toolbar back to the Web page.
F6 or shift+f6 Switches the focus to the next pane that the keyboard can access. These panes include:
  • Address bar (where URLs are highlighted)
  • Bookmarks Bar (if displayed)
  • Major web content (including any Information Bar)
  • Download the content bar (if shown)
Ctrl+shift+j Open the developer tools.
Ctrl+shift+delete Opens the Clear Browsing Data dialog box.
F1 Open the Help Center (preferred) in the new tab.
Ctrl+shift+m Switch between multiple users.
Address bar shortcut keys

You can use the following shortcut keys in the Address bar:

Enter a search term, and then press enter. Search using the default search engine.
Enter the search engine keyword, press the SPACEBAR, enter a search term, and then press enter. Search using the search engine associated with the keyword.
First enter the search engine URL, then press Tabwhen prompted, enter a search term, and then press enter. Search using the search engine associated with the URL.
Ctrl+enter Add www. and and open the resulting URL for what you entered in the Address bar .com .
Enter the URL, and then press Alt+enter. Open the URL in the new tab.
Ctrl+l or Alt+d Highlight the URL.
ctrl+k or ctrl+e Set the "?" Placed in the address bar. Enter a search term after the question mark to perform a search using the default search engine.
Press Ctrl and LEFT arrow keys at the same time. Move the cursor to the previous key word in the address bar
Press Ctrl and RIGHT arrow keys at the same time. Move the cursor to the next key word in the address bar
Ctrl+backspace Delete key words before the cursor in the address bar
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to select an entry from the Address Bar drop-down menu, and then press Shift+delete. Removes the selected entry (if available) from the browsing history.
Use the middle mouse button (or the mouse wheel) to click an entry in the Address Bar drop-down menu. Open the entry from the background in a new tab page.
When the Address Bar drop-down menu is displayed, press page up or pagedown. Select the first or last entry in the drop-down menu.
Web shortcut keys
Ctrl+p Prints the current page.
Ctrl+s Saves the current page.
F5 or ctrl+r Reloads the current Web page.
Esc Stops loading the current Web page.
Ctrl+f Open the Find bar.
ctrl+g or F3 Find the next item in the find bar that matches what you entered.
ctrl+shift+g,shift+f3 , or shift+enter Find the previous item in the Find bar that matches the input.
Click the middle mouse button (or the mouse wheel). Activates auto-scroll mode. When you move the mouse, the page scrolls automatically based on the direction in which the mouse is moved.
ctrl+f5 or shift+f5 Reloads the current Web page, ignoring cached content.
Hold down the Alt key, and then click the link. Download the link target.
Ctrl+u Opens the source code for the current page.
Drag a link to the bookmarks Bar Save the link as a bookmark.
Ctrl+d Saves the current page as a bookmark.
Ctrl+shift+d Saves all open Web pages as bookmarks in a new folder.
F11 Open the Web page in full-screen mode. Press F11 again to exit full-screen mode.
Press Ctrl and +at the same time, or hold down the CTRL key and scroll up the mouse wheel. Enlarges all content on the page.
Press Ctrl and -or hold down the CTRL key and scroll down the mouse wheel. Shrink everything on the page.
Ctrl+0 Restores all content on the Web page to normal size.
Space key Scroll down the page.
Home Go to the top of the page.
End Go to the bottom of the page.
Hold down the Shift key and scroll the mouse wheel. Scroll horizontally on the Web page.
Text shortcut keys
CTRL + C Copies the highlighted content to the Clipboard.
Ctrl + V or shift+insert Pastes content from the Clipboard.
Ctrl+shift+v Pastes content from the Clipboard (without formatting).
ctrl+x or shift+delete Deletes the highlighted content and copies it to the Clipboard.
