step1:http://tomcat.apache.org/download-70.cgi Download apache-tomcat-7.0.12
Step2: Unzip the file, this is the green version, no need to install. Like under the H:\software\.
Step3: System variables, such as "My Computer", "Properties", "Advanced", "Environment variables"
"New", variable name catalina_base, variable value H:\software\apache-tomcat-7.0.53-windows-x64 (the address extracted in Step2)
"New", variable name catalina_home, variable value H:\software\apache-tomcat-7.0.53-windows-x64 (the address extracted in Step2)
"New", variable name tomcat_home, variable value H:\software\apache-tomcat-7.0.53-windows-x64 (the address extracted in Step2)
Edit the new variable classpath in the JDK installation, add%catalina_home%\lib\servlet-api.ja R later, and separate the middle with a semicolon
Edit the new variable path in the JDK installation, add%tomcat_home%\bin later, and separate the middle with a semicolon
Step4: Start tomcat, click Bin\startup.bat; If unable to start, switch to cmd command line to start Startup.bat
H:\software\apache-tomcat-7.0.53-windows-x64\bin>startup.bat
STEP5: Enter http://localhost:8080 in the browser
See if the Welcome page appears, indicating that the installation was successful.
