I'd like to introduce a tutorial on the mini printer, which enables the internet of things via Arduino Uno and Ethernet Shield.

Some people say that Adafruit's learning page is a very good learning material. That's true!! I was lucky to find this article on Adafruit.

An overview of the IoT printer project is as follows.

Build an "Internet of things" mini printer, and it will take full orders from you! This is an interesting weekend project, with a beautiful laser cutter box. Once assembled, the small printer connects to Ethernet, acquires network data and prints it on a 2 1/4″-wide receipt paper. We've written a routine that will connect Twitter, search the API according to your requirements, and retrieve and print messages: You can print out the words from a person, a label, and so on! Once you get him to work, you can easily tweak our routines to customize the printer.

This project is not difficult, but requires some light brazing, so you need to point out the experience of using a soldering iron. You also need a small dummy screwdriver to assemble the box. You'd better have some arduino experience so you can feel the thrill of downloading the IDE and uploading our routines.

To complete this project, you will need Arduino and Arduino Ethernet Shield. When you read Adafruit's Arduino Ethernet Shield product page, you'll find wiznet W5100 chip.
