Data Center five Trends-Asia data Center unusually hot

Uptime Cato released a 2012 data center industry survey that I found 5 interesting cases in the new survey.

1. The public cloud is large and the private cloud is larger

This year, 25% of respondents said they were using http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13743.html "> Public cloud services, compared to 16% in the same period last year." Private cloud deployments grew from 35% last year to 49% this year.

2. The budget of the data centre is on the rise

More than half (55%) of the groups said their budgets were up 52% from a year earlier. 32% of respondents said their data center budget would rise by more than 10% in 2012.

3. Asian data centres are very popular

55% of Asian companies say their budget has risen by more than 10% this year.

4. The data center is depleting its remaining capacity

In the survey, nearly One-third (30%) said their companies would run out of at least one of their sites this year. As many as 86% of respondents in Asia said they had "recently" built a website and 35% said they were considering capacity limits on their existing sites.

5. Energy efficiency is the key

More than half of the respondents this year have been saving energy as an important priority, and the report says that the rating of power use efficiency (PUE is the data Center Energy efficiency indicator) is roughly the same every year, at around 1.8 to 1.9. One-fourth per cent of respondents said they collected carbon data, the same as 34% of water consumption.
