Recently, according to foreign media reports, in TechStars's New York demonstration Day, there are 13 start-ups unveiled. Some of these companies are trying to move into new areas, leveraging social media and our online identities to subvert retail, consumer engagement, and the way employees communicate, while others want to do well in traditional industries. Here are the 13 company profiles:

.Lua is a mobile tool for project management and employee communication, which enables one-way and two-way communication for all employees of the company or members of a specific team. LUA also has read receipts and teleconferencing capabilities. The service applies to any device from iOS to Android to feature phones, so no one is excluded.

.Karma introduces a whole new concept to the mobile domain: social bandwidth. You pay 69 dollars and you get a 4G wireless hotspot. It is paid by data flow, with a price of $15 per gigabyte. You log on to the Karma hotspot network with your Facebook account and sign up to send 100MB free traffic, all of which are connected to your Facebook. Then, whenever someone uses your Karma hotspot via Facebook, you get extra 100MB of free data traffic. In other words, the more people who use your network, the more free data traffic you get.

.PopTip may look a bit like twitpolls, but in fact it's totally different from twitpolls. With Poptip, you can ask a #poptip question on Twitter and give the potential answer a # number, and then you can see the real-time answer stream. Even better, the person who sends the answer on Twitter is misspelled, or forgets to add the #, and Poptip automatically recognizes it. And each result page has detailed metrics that tell you who answered the question at what time.

.Pickie is a curatorial (curated) shopping application. There are a lot of apps for this kind of iphone, but no one can pull your friend's recommendation like Pickie. The use of Pickie for mobile shopping is very convenient, it provides a large number of categories for your choice. You can check out friends ' recommended products, edit selected products, hot products, and use its "discover" page.

.10sheet wants to subvert a traditional industry: accounting. By combining automation software with real-life accounting services, 10sheet can accomplish tasks faster and cost much less than traditional methods.

.ConditionOne is a new iphone/iphone video player. It does not require any new hardware to allow viewers to see the full 180-degree view on the iphone.

.Wander is a combination of Pinterest and Yelp. It has a lot of gorgeous templates that can be used to record where you've been, or where you want to go. It also introduces a new network language: an asterisk to denote "mention". So you can not only view a person's record vertically, but also see all the records in a particular place horizontally.

.Classtivity aggregates all the leisure venues and fitness classes around you, and you can use time, date, place, and price to filter them. And you can even book some activities directly from classtivity. For the user and the fitness place, this is a win.

.Marquee is a simple web-based authoring tool that publishers with no programming experience can use to create beautiful pages. Marquee integrates cloud services and provides drag-and-drop tools that users can use to drag and drop things on the desktop, Dropbox, SoundCloud, Vimeo, or Instagram directly onto Facebook or Twitter. Since the technology only captures the display of data on your page (rather than the data itself), it is almost compatible with all the publishing platforms.

.Bondsy is a new social network, and it's easy and safe to buy and sell second-hand goods. For example, you can use your phone to photograph the TV set you want to sell and upload it to bondsy. In this network, only your friends, and friends can see your sales information, so users can not only "find" items, and the transaction between the two sides also have a certain degree of trust.

.rewind.me can capture your entire digital history: while currently only your Foursquare check-in, it will include all of your "praise", Twitter #标签, what you mention in Instagram, and all of your other digitized historical data in the future. With this data, rewind can help brands better target their customers with marketing campaigns and reward loyal customers.

The 12.Moveline mission looks daunting: changing the freight industry, which now takes a lot of time, energy and paper to give a quote. Using Moveline, you can use FaceTime or video to simplify the shipping process. The service can also provide you with quotes from several companies to find the right (and cheapest) service.

The

.SmallKnot is basically a crowdsourcing service: you invest a small amount of money in the local businesses that you often visit, and these businesses offer you rewards. Like this, businesses can get a high degree of customer loyalty with little cost.
