Integrated Product Exalogic Elastic cloud is designed to help enterprise management cloud computing

According to foreign media reports, Oracle CEO Ellison (Larry Ellison) unveiled a new integrated product exalogic elastic Cloud at the 2010 Global Technology and Applications conference in Sunday, designed to help manage cloud computing.

At the meeting, Ellison presented Oracle Exalogic elastic Cloud Oracle, the world's first integrated middleware machine. Composed of the latest high-performance x86 hardware, Oracle WebLogic server, and Exalogic software, the product is a comprehensive server, network, storage, virtual machine, operating system, and middleware system designed to ensure that these components work together without difficulty.

In terms of speed and ease of use, Mr. Ellison says, Oracle exalogic elastic cloud hardware and software in excess of rival products. This system is one of Oracle's 7.3 billion dollar acquisitions of sun.

Oracle is the world's largest database software manufacturer and a heavyweight player in the software field. After the acquisition of Sun, Oracle has become a hardware market can not ignore the manufacturers. The introduction of Oracle Exalogic Elastic cloud also means Oracle will compete directly with HP and IBM in the server market.

Exalogic Elastic Cloud set of servers, storage, networking technology and Oracle software as a whole, enterprises can use this tool to run its commercial applications. In the commercial software and database market, Oracle's competitors include SAP and IBM. After acquiring Sun, Oracle has a direct competitive relationship with HP in the hardware market.

Oracle "Exalogic" cloud system, is a hardware and software integrated system, including 30 servers, each server has 2 6 core CPUs, these servers through the InfiniBand technology interconnection. This system supports Solaris and other Linux systems, as well as middleware for all customer needs. In addition, multiple exalogic cloud systems can be interconnected as long as the power supply is increased. Mr. Ellison says the system is an excellent cloud platform with a single system that can handle 1 million HTTP connection requests per second, and two can even handle a powerful HTTP request load like a Facebook site.

Exalogic is developed based on Oracle Exadata database systems, and it is clear that Oracle will integrate it with Sun's hardware system. HP's leadership has also responded quickly to Oracle, saying it has plans to develop private cloud products that support Oracle software.

As Mark Hurd, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, has just joined Oracle, this year's Hurd has attracted more than 40,000 participants. Mr. Hurd was sued by Hewlett-Packard after he joined Oracle, and Mr Ellison responded mercilessly.

But the disagreements have not prevented HP from attending this year's conference. Oracle has invited two HP executives, Ann Livermore Ann Livermore, and Dave Donnadley Dave Donatelli to showcase HP's products before Mr. Ellison's debut.

Livermore says two companies are close to business and about 12,000 HP IT service personnel are responsible for maintaining Oracle's system. Oracle's software runs on HP's servers and storage products, but as Oracle moves into the server market, competition between two companies becomes more straightforward.
